The bowl is so small it doesn't hold a roll of yarn. There are rough edges that snag the yarn. Used fine sandpaper to smooth edges. It is beautiful but not functional.It's very pretty. I had to give it a solid week to air out because it must have been freshly lacquered. That aside, its beautiful!This is absolutely beautiful.It was a Mother’s Day gift for my wife. Good looking bowl but when she started using it, the yarn was getting frayed by the guide. It was too rough to be used with yarn. My wife asked me to return it. I put in a return and did not receive a shipping label. I requested it a second time and I got one but I am expected to pay the return shipping to India??? I expected hassle free returns on defective items and not to be left on my own to return it.It looks beautiful sitting on my bookshelf where I crochet. Would definitely order one for a friend.i absolutely love this bowl! it's really nice and quite big. The color and the varnish is beautiful along with the carvings!Shipped fast and love it
